About me
KayLyn Hopper has over thirty-five years of cross-cultural experience. She served as a missionary journalist in the Middle East with the International Mission Board as editorial director for Baptist Publications and also an editor for the magazine, Middle East & International Review. She lived in Beirut, Lebanon, Damascus, Syria, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
She teaches at Dallas Baptist University where for 14 years she has been teaching the courses, Understanding the Islamic Faith, Integrating Faith and Culture, Developing the Christian Mind, and Lifelong Learning. She holds a B.S.degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University and a M.Div. degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
